Today we learned on a lot of stuff. One of the stuff we learned was when you need a picture for printing the number of pixels should be 300, but for a picture for webpage the number of pixels should be 72. Also when you want to resize a picture you think is maybe too small or too big you go to tools and click on resize and it will do it for you. The number you but for the number of pixels. DPI means dots princh. In a picture for example if its 500 DPI, then the picture would take a long time to download. You should try to make your pictures jpg becasue it doesnt take that long to download. What JPG means is that it compresses the picture, it takes information and duplicates which it loses information. Another kind of type of picture is TIF. It saves every little information of the picture and thats how it takes a long time to download. If you want to save a picture for printing you should save it to a bigger fomat. But for webpage the picture should be saves as a small format. BMP is another kind of format but it doesnt help much. When using photoshop if you want to change the brightness/contrast of your picture than you go to Enhance andthen click on the levels and chose the levels you want to display. The other thing we learned on photoshop is how to crop a picture. What that does is it makes your picture smaller.
