The difference between memory and storage is that memory is open you can take information out form it you can use it,but storage you cant use it its saved information. It's just like kept there. Stuff you can see is optical storage. The way a CD works is that there are three parts of the CD rom. The labiling the inside of the CD and the reflected metal surface the other side is plastic. The most delicated part of the disk is on the front. A CD has millions of pites. The laser shines on the disk eaither it goes or the light doesn't go . There are 8 bites on a bite. There are 5 0000 00000 billion bites on a disk. When you scartch a disk it won't work it will damage it. The worest scartches a CD can have is on the sideway and round. If you have an old CD you can put a little bit of tooth paste on the scatch, but dont use it on a new CD. When you want to clean a CD use it from the center to the sides. Hard drive is not optical media, its magnetic media floppy. Inside the floppy disk is storage, there are millions of magnets in it. There are two pols. Magnets are eiather North or South. You can use magnets for bindary code. The magnets can screw up the floppy. There are billions of little magnets that goes North and South. They all store information in bindary.

All the things in the computer is attached to mother board. The main thing in computer is the mother board. The chips in CPU has a gold square in back of it and it's cold if you touch it because when it is working it will get warm so it wont get warm alot. In mother board there is a switch that the keyboard is connected to it. BIOS chips puts up the system. This tells the computer what to do. PCI is a kind of connecter to mother board. PCI is attached to the mother board. Chipset is to control mother board. Most of the things you buy, it will attach by a PCI to computer. You can put and take information from RAM. Whenever there is more RAM, there will be more information. The size and speed of RAM is more important to look when your buying it. A hard drive is like a storage but memory is where you need the information from it. That is the difference between them. When the computer is off windows is in hard drive. We need to look for the model of CPU first. The two kinds of CPU are INTEL and ANT. If we want to buy one we must look for the speed. The more electrocity you have in it with more speed your work will be working faster. We should look and see how much should the speed of processer be, then we choose to buy INTEL or ANT. If in computer one thing is slow and does not work the computer will get slow and will not work, too. The standard size of megabite is . Network connecter wire is attached to back of the computer, without this the internet does not work.

The tow parts of electricuty is off and on. To represent off and on is o and 1. o
means no power and 1 means there is power. You cant have electicity on.

computer understand colour and lines and alephebet is by bindery code.
There are tow things a computer can understand is on and off. We only have 1's and 0's. You can only have 2 kinds. The more bindery bites we put together you can have more power. 8 peaces of information is called a bite. There are 255 numbers that you can show. A bite well equal A and then it cares on using bindery code. All your computer can understand in bindery code. A preferal is everything attached to PC. Lineput preferal is like a mouse, keybored and ect. Output is a speaker, printer, ect. A PC is a device you can put and take out information from it. The first computer was invented in 1945.

What we learned in the class today was there are two types of moniter. The fisr one is CRT and LCD. CRT means cathode ray tube. LCD means liguid crystal display. The one that is CRT is expensive but the other one LCD is cheaper than the other one. Monitors are made up of red, bule and green. There are 250 rage of colours in the red, green and blue.

HOW CD BURN WORKS
An external writable CD drive, also called a CD burner: With this type of drive, you can take music or data files from your computer and make your own CDs.
CD burners marked by a cultural shift. The technology made it sutaible for the average person to gather songs and produce their own CDs. All the sudden music-mix makers hand their hands on the made of production everywhere.
Inside the CD player there is a little bit of computer technology involved about the data into understanding data blocks and sending to DAC or to the computer. DAC is "digital to analog converter."
The easy job of the CD player is to study the laser on the track of bumps. The laser beam passes through the flaxible layer, reflects off the aluminum layer and hits an opto-electronic device that detects change in light. The bumps reflect light differently than the "lands" (the rest of the aluminum layer). The opto-electronic device detects the change in reflectivity. The electonics in the drive interpret the change in reflectivility in order to read the bits that make up the bytes.
Keeping the laser beam centered on the data track is the hardest part. This centering is the job of the tracking system. The tracking system, as it plays the CD, has to continually move the laser outward. As the laser moves outward from the center of the disc, the bumps move past the laser faster --- this happens because the linear, or tangential, speed of the bumps is the same radius times the speed at which the disc is revolving (rpm). Therefore, as the laser moves outward, the spindle motor must slow the speed of the CD. That way, the bumps travel past the laser at a constant speed, and the data comes off the disc at a constant rate.
The CD player spins the disc while moving the laser assembly outward from the middle. To keep the laser scanning the data track at a constant speed, the player must slow the disc as the assembly moves outward.
The CD player has the job of finding and reading the data that are as bumps on the CD. Considering how small the bumps are, the CD player is an exceptionally precise piece of equipment. The drive consists of three fundamental components.

In this lessons i learned about email address and blogging. In the email there is subject and the person who would want to send an email to(To), carbon copy and blind carbon copy, forward mesages and save as a draft, compose, attach files, and tools to make your email pretty like differnt colours differnt fonts, and funny stuff.
Carbon copy: means when you want to send another copy to another person of that email or message you write.
Blind Carbon copy: is when you send a email to someone and u want to send a exact copy to some one else. So when you choose Blind carbon copy the first person will not know.
